The trailer in words, one line a shot, with the time each starts. Captions and Describe the pictures say the same as it plays.
- 0:00 A wet street at night. Over a boarded door, an unlit sign.
- 0:02 A notice slaps onto the boards: DO NOT PROCESS FEELINGS OUTSIDE.
- 0:04 Ricky, a rigatoni in a red 32 jersey, strolls past it, beaming.
- 0:05 A corkboard under a lamp. Its red header starts to run.
- 0:07 Lilly, arms crossed, on a white stage, unimpressed.
- 0:09 The camera travels along the whole block to Don, under one light.
- 0:14 The lights drop. Don slams his desk; papers fly.
- 0:16 The camera rises. Don shrinks, alone under one lamp in a warehouse.
- 0:19 Willie hangs in the air on his skateboard, then freezes.
- 0:23 Tony smiles. His label flips. He reads it, and holds very still.
- 0:26 Louie streams to nobody. His top layer slides; Ralphie clips it on.
- 0:30 Mikey, hands in pockets. A message from his mother appears.
- 0:32 Two grandmothers in facing windows give the same sideways look.
- 0:34 Ricky's white card melts into a rooftop at dusk. His grin hardens.
- 0:38 Don's eyes narrow.
- 0:41 Ricky runs straight at us down the street.
- 0:43 In an alley Ricky leapfrogs Ralphie, who crashes into boxes.
- 0:45 An empty subway platform. Steam breathes from the tunnel.
- 0:48 A plain grey door. Light spills from under it.
- 0:49 The handle rattles. STAFF ONLY stamps itself on the door.
- 0:51 The kindness board again, two notes pinned. Ricky points at his reply.
- 0:53 He turns to us and beams.
- 0:54 The smile tightens and drains.
- 0:55 The smile snaps back. His label: which may be a trauma response.
- 0:58 The street again. The sign's tubes flicker and catch.
- 0:59 THE MACARONIS, in dripping gold neon.
- 1:01 A bill pasted under the sign: Boil Season. Ten books. Eighteen plus.
